The Heartwarming Tampa Bay Engagement Session of Breanna and Trevin

“When we love, we always strive to become better than we are. When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better too.” - Paulo Coelho

Hope is a powerful thing. To overcome life's biggest challenges and conquer hurdles, it is “hope” that keeps us going and makes us powerful. We all know how the recent pandemic jerked so many wedding and engagement plans for millions of couples around the globe. It kept us worried and anxious about our future as we saw so many postponements and cancellations around us. Amidst this, like an arrow piercing through glass ceilings and inundating the entire world with a bright ray of light and sunshine, we saw love and life getting celebrated by couples who decided to be together no matter what. Coronavirus engagement sessions and love stories gave us a striking sense of reassurance and hope that will stay with us for a long time to come. From couples getting married in driveways and hosting minimonies to couples getting engaged while getting cheered by their loved ones through online streaming, we saw a vivid range of creativity and artistry by people in love. Couples are continuing to find creative ways to pop the question and innovative means to get married while maintaining social distancing guidelines. It shows us how important and okay it is to celebrate certain happy things during tough times.

The mix of inevitable feelings might deter you from getting married or engaged. It is only natural. Of course, you are happy and excited to celebrate your brand-new beginning with the love of your life, but the sense of gloom with so many sad things happening around the world might make you rethink certain priorities. It is a wild contrast between your own happiness and the pain and loss around you. But humans are the most resilient beings. Like there was beautiful music and poems that came out during World War II, which shook the world, we understand how human spirits are built to survive and thrive. And just like that, we see beautiful couples getting engaged and married amid everything. This makes everything so beautiful and dreamy. Like a rose in the middle of a desert or a child’s infectious laughter in a room full of silence.

Speaking of popping the big question, couples getting engaged and commemorating this momentous occasion in pretty keepsakes is still one of our most favorite experiences. We are big fans of pre-wedding shoots or engagement photos that truly capture the essence of a couple whether it is done at a dreamy setting in the countryside, or in a sizzling nightscape of downtown, or even amidst the coziness of their own home. As you begin your journey towards wedded bliss, it’s time to commemorate your engagement with a romantic photoshoot. Not only can you use these beautiful engagement portraits for your wedding details like invitations, ceremony backdrops, welcome tables, or even as photo booth backdrops, but also get to know your future wedding photographer in a better way. From having a memorable engagement photoshoot with quirky props to celebrating the momentous occasion in a faraway land, we’ve seen couples bring out the best of themselves to document their love story.

What makes a great and memorable engagement portrait session that can inspire? From choosing one of the best outdoor engagement photography locations that can blow your mind with its beauty to pop the big question to dressing up for the big occasion, personalization of your session to make it stand out in a sea of engagement photos will need a lot of prep. For starters, choose an engagement spot that is close to your heart. It can be the train station where you first saw your partner or the most popular urban park in your city where you both go jogging every morning. Once that choice is made, practice certain poses that signify your chemistry as a couple and contain expressions and gestures that are true to both of you. Incorporating creative props for your engagement session is a great way to make your session unique. Props can be anything- the furry baby you adopted together or a book that you both bonded over or even a movie that you have watched a zillion times together (dress up as the characters). From the bespoke details to stunning scenery and creative poses, couples around the world are bringing out their best to the world in beautiful engagement photos.

With the sun dawdling and shining brightly through the vivid green grounds and a little whirling and twirling, we are convinced these pictures couldn’t capture Trevin and Breanna’s splendor any better! Read on below for more of their story, with the stunning photogenic spots of Tampa posing as breathtaking backdrops. Cheers to these soon-to-be newlyweds!

It is no secret that Tampa is crammed to the brim with photogenic spots. Situated on an inlet reaching far into the west coast of Florida, Tampa is a sunny spot for photographers to capture couples in swoon-worthy locations. Although known for its ideal vacation spots for families, the city of Tampa was a brilliant choice for channeling the romance and love of this couple in a fun and sweet engagement photoshoot. Talking about photo spots of Tampa, we cannot forget the all-time popular Busch Gardens, the 335-acre family entertainment, and adventure park featuring live music, performances, and a multitude of exotic animals. Part of the former Tampa Bay Hotel, the historic Henry B. Plant Museum, is another photo spot in Tampa, a luxurious Victorian palace with distinctive Moorish features. Tampa's Florida Aquarium is another stunning spot to get photographed while popping the big question and being surrounded by exotic marine animals. For all the dramatic couples who love dazzling backdrops, the Tampa Theatre can pose as the swooning retro backdrop featuring architectural styles including Italian Renaissance, Byzantine, and Greek Revival.

Ybor City is another National Historic Landmark District which is not only a pretty photogenic spot but is also the center of Tampa's Latino community. This area is home to many shops, galleries, restaurants, and cafés for sweet and remarkable engagement photos with striking Spanish influences. No list will ever be complete without mentioning the elegance of Tampa Riverwalk. The 2.4-mile walkway winds its way along the waterfront of the Hillsborough River and is loved by our engagement photographers in Tampa, especially for evening photography sessions when the entire neighborhood blinks in dreamy glows of colorful lighting. Tucked beside upper Tampa Bay, the historic Safety Harbor of Florida, filled with amazing spots for professional photographers to click snaps of couples in love. The unique small-town setting is home to a wide variety of recreation activities and special events. One of the main attractions of this historic spot in Tampa Bay is Philippe Park. This is where our Tampa engagement photographers captured the ethereal romance of Breanna and Trevin in memorable keepsakes.

With fire burning in their eyes and dripping with seamless passion, this couple had their engagement photography session at the historic spot of Philippe Park in Tampa, Florida. Overlooking the Old Tampa Bay, this is the oldest park in the county that dates back to 1948. This beautiful historical site is named after Odet Philippe, who claimed to be a surgeon for Napoleon. The area has striking significance as a Native American settlement and is also listed as a National Historic Landmark. Featuring excellent picnic areas, playgrounds, and nature trails for couples to have their memorable moments in an engagement photoshoot, this park is shaded by large oaks and other hardwood trees. With the majestic oak tree lines dripping sage green moss and the quaint one-mile shoreline featuring endless photo-ops, this was truly a great choice for our stunning couple.

The romantic and inspirational engagement photography session of Trevin and Breanna began at this historic urban park in Tampa on a bright, sunny morning of April 2021. Just when the world is coming out and celebrating love and life once again after the terrible year of 2020, this fun-loving couple decided to declare their deeply coveted love in a brilliant engagement portrait session in Tampa. As the day began bright and happy, we saw our stunning couple wearing chic engagement outfits that blended seamlessly with the beautiful weather. The sunny moods were lifted when they also had a change of engagement outfits and totally owned the dramatic moods of the day. Like a trickling waterfall in the middle of a desert, Breanna and Trevin gave us an engagement photo session in Tampa that we’ll never forget.

Our sophisticated and chic bride Breanna donned a long and flowy crêpe maxi dress as her first engagement outfit. The elegant bridal engagement outfit was a stunning slate gray maxi gown with a halter and V-neck and featured a crisscross back and a waist tie-up sash. The gorgeous bridal engagement outfit was complemented by a pair of nude-colored block heels and a neatly untied hairdo, which accentuated the no-jewelry look even more. Our dashing groom Trevin wore a casual white shirt and a pair of dark blue denim. The chic geeky groom look was completed with a pair of dark-framed glasses, neatly trimmed chin curtain beard, precisely done hair spikes, and a pair of blue sneakers.

Our professional engagement photographers took snapshots of this dreamy and fun-loving couple as they gracefully walked hand in hand through the winding trails of the park, which were flanked by moss dripping oaks. As the towering oaks tree lines flanked the winding trails, Breanna and Trevin orchestrated amazing engagement poses to commemorate the memorable moments of their milestone. From stealing a kiss in the middle of the road with the green trees and blue sky as natural backdrops to the engagement portraits in the breathtakingly luscious grounds with soothing blades of green grass posing like a carpet, we were swooned by each and every portrait of this Tampa couple photography session.

Shortly after that, the duo changed into gorgeous fall engagement attires that looked straight from a runway magazine. Breanna came donning in a two-piece engagement outfit featuring a burnt orange skirt and a black broad shoulder top. This fall-inspired bridal engagement outfit was completed with a pair of black heels and a bare neck that looked ravishing. Trevin too changed into a cream-colored full sleeve sweatshirt that aesthetically complimented Breanna’s gorgeous outfit. The duo walked through the artistic and historic artifacts strewn throughout the park and paused to strike beautiful poses every now and then. The exposed quarried walls of Philippe Park and the enormous cascading staircase stood as vintage chic backdrops engulfed in a rich history as they kissed and embraced each other. They also held hands and posed for a detailed shot where their chic engagement rings were captured intricately. It was really romantic.

As the day came to an end, the couple headed to the waterfront boardwalk and clicked some dreamy golden hour couple portraits with the setting sun glowing like amber on them. The sparkling water of Old Tampa Bay glistened with the setting sun and the light blue sky gave way to whimsical golden hour engagement portraits. As they promised “forever” and slowly spent this beautiful day with us, we basked in the glow of their timeless chemistry for a long time. From the way they looked at each other with so much passion and love, to the way they held and acknowledged each other brightened our hearts with a cupid-struck arrow. May the infectious smiles and warm hearts navigate through the uncharted waters of marriage and life as gracefully as their eloquent chemistry.
